Through a thick mist we arrived on Castle Law ready to start excavations. Three trenches were laid out and today we managed to completely deturf two of the three! We are well ahead of where we were last year. It is great not to have to excavate through snow first to find the trench...

...Back at Jackschairs Wood survey the RCAHMS team have pretty much finished the survey and will be moving on to investigate Law of Dumbuils next
